The worst case ever Nothing2005-08-26 20:59:45

I think my case is the worst case ever which took so long to get prove. I have expiring a lot. I should share some things to every one who will apply your GC, which you might avoid them.
1). Don’t list some Chinese National awards such as Nuclear Industrial Science and Technology Award, Military Science and Technology Award and Chinese Science and Technology Committee or Education Committee Award. Those would not help you and make your case much more complex than initially contemplated.
2). Looking for commercial lawyer rather than official one. They have more experience and could give your good advises.
3). Avoid to have a simple and popular Chinese name, if you could.
4). Seems like now I-140 and I-485 processing are much slow than before, you just be patient.

I know that waiting is frustrated and painful. You can always think the next one will be you. Actually, no thing you can do under this situation. I have called INS and contacted with U.S. Senator, it would not help. Since you have advance parole travel authorization and employment authorization document, you loss nothing.
