I want to have the kid live with me in the state (as a H1B dependent maybe?)
Because I am on H1B, I thought it can be done in China thought regular adoption process. However I was told that even if I successfully adopted the child, I won't be able to bring her to the U.S. because U.S. embassy just won't recognize the relationship. I will have to do it in here. But all I found in Google is about "US citizen adoption Chinese orphans".
Does anyone know how do I get started on this matter?
