Our NIW I140 was approved at NSC one year ago and now we are waiting for I485. After I140 was approved I changed the job from DOE lab as a postdoc to an assistant professor at a 4 yr school. Recently my wife got a job. However the employer does not want to do H1b transfer since we already used AP. So she has to use EAD but I can stick with the same employer using H1. Now my question is how reliable about 485 approval. I know it will take a long time but wonder whether you have heard any unapproved I485 cases at NSC after NIW I140 was approved.
