I just got the news from my friend (where the INS letter was asked to send) for my NIW RFE, (maybe Intent to Deny, since It asked me to answer by 12/22/05). I knew there were three pages and another golden sheet, not details yet.
I submitted my I-140 (NIW) on 10/31/05 to TSC (DIY)
RD: 11/2/05
ND: 11/2/05
I found that LUD was 11/16/2005 but no any information updated for my case status. There came the RFE today.
My background is not strong, PHD 2004 Fall in Mechanical Engineer, five journal papers and five proceedings, all as the first author. But very few citiation (most were published in last three years). My research field is very narrow, which means I cannot expect many citation even I wait for another three years.
I submitted nine reference letters( three from national labs, others from univs), but only two or three are independent letters.
I probably find another three or four independent letters, but most from European countries. Would you please give me some suggestions.
Holidays are not easy for me!
