I guess many previous H1b laid off have the same question to ask: Are we qualified for the unemployment benefits?
I read some information about unemployment benefit program from one state government, I knew the benefit was founded on the basis of the money from employer, but didn't find that the benefit is only for permanent resident or citzen. Did anybody had similar experience before? If it is required, where can I find it on Web?
