I did the fingerprint today according to the FP notice sent to me from USCIS. After the staff in the ASC finished my fingerprint, she told me that I will receive my green card through mail. I am very surprised since my 485 has not been approved yet. Then I told her this, and she repeated that I will receive my green card through mail since it is code 3 in my FP notice.

Is this because the staff in ASC dosen't know the immigration policy much? Does anyone have any idea?
