checked today... the I-485 processing date for VSC has moved to 12/30/2004 from 12/16/2004. So it took about a month to move the processing date forward two weeks...
My I-140 (EB2) and I-485 was filed concurrently in April, 2005. (I-140 was approved in July 2005). My priority date just became current earlier this month... but, at this rate, they won't be even looking at my case probably until the second half of 2006. Bummer!
Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done... have a kid going to college in September, but can't get any financial aid without Green card...
