I hold a Multi Entry B1 visa with expiration date of Nov 15, 2006. I arrived in Houston on Nov 27, 2005, the departure date on I-94 is Feb 26, 2006. My company has applied the visa extension to May 26, 2006 for me, but the extension application has not been approved. I will have a nine-day trip to Canada next week.
When I returned from Canada to USA, will I be denied to re-enter into USA because the extension application has not been approved? Even if the application has not been approved, it will be no problem to re-enter to USA if I take the “Receipt Notice” which can prove that I have applied for the visa extension. Is my understanding correct?
