我是去年5月毕业的，但是我的OPT card shows an expiration date of July,28th,2006. 我现在正在申请H1b，如果批准的话，应该是只能从Oct.1st开始的吧.

My question is: do I still have the 2-month grace period for my OPT after July to stay legally in the US? If luckily, I have the 2-month period, it will last till Sept.28th. Does it mean that I have 2-day [9.29/9.30] gap in my status? If yes, what should I do?

Also, Can I work for the company without pay during the months of August and September?
