Hi, Everyone
I am a F-1 holder right now. However, I got my F-1 from J-1 transfer. I also got my F-1 visa stamped in Mexico.
Now, my LG is going to file 140 & 485 together, someone told me that I need a J-1 waiver for 485 later. From my understanding, I entered US with my F-1 visa from Mexico, so I do not need J-1 waiver any more.
Does anyone know for sure whether or not I need to get J-1 waiver for my situation.
