Dear Gurus and Experts, sorry for repeating my post here. I have not yet heard any response and I am anxiously looking for some. Here is my situation:

I was wondering what could happen to me for failing to file Canada tax return in the past 3 years. I was in USA on student visa in 2001 and applied for canada permanent residency the same year. I was approved and completed the landing process in 2002. Ever since then I have mostly stayed in USA to continue my school up till now. Each summer during the past, I have returned to Canada and lived with my friends for about 5 months (no more than 180 days). However, I have never filed Canada tax return in these 3 years because
of zero income in Canada. Will this cause any legal/immigration storm
to me? What could happen to me if I start to file my Canada tax next
year? Many thanks for your input!
