Our cases:
RD: 08/2004 (NIW and EB1a)
AD of I-140; NIW 07/2005; EB1a: 07/2005
First FP; 03/2005 (My wife and I)
Second FP: 06/2005 (Myself)
My wife's FP also expired, no FP request.
Transfer I-485 from NIW to EB1a on 02/2006
All members (my wife and daugher) approved today.
We just waited, and did nothing.
One more thing: My wife requested EAD renewal this August and it was approved in 10 days. I do not know if that has some effect on the I-485 approval.

Obviously CIS wants to make easy EAD money just before approving
