What seems to have happened with the Nebraska Service Center is that when they received several transferred cases from other centers recently due to a new specialization policy, they related their processing dates back to September 2005. Because of this they seem to have put all later cases on hold (even those with answered RFEs) until they address this backlog. While
I am not certain this is the case, I have not seen much in the way of final decisions for later filed petitions in the past few months.
