My parents got b2 visa recently. They can come/go in US N time/year. I'd like to get them green card so they do not have to apply for non-immigrant visas any more. I am an US citizen.

I want to know:
1. What are the steps? can we do 485, 130, medical stuff right after they come here?
2. How long it takes now? My father wants to go back after 3 months, taking care of family matters, then come back. But if his green card process is pending, can he use B2?

3. Is anybody in the same boat with me? Can we share some information? Please send me QQH.
