My friend's EB2 (PERM) has been approved. He was born in China but has Candian citizenship. His wife and children live in Canada. The question he wants to ask is:

Will his family need to come to USA to file I-485 when they are allowed to file? Can they stay in Canada but still file I-485 with him.
