I just married to my 4 years relation honey. He is USC. I almost get my own H1B. But I want to apply GC through marriage….. all by myself, without a lawyer.
Has anyone applied GC by himself or herself. I have many things not sure in i-130, i-485....
1. i-485 form: My application type? Should it be (a)?: an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available .....
2. the places we live are 4hours driving distance. I am going to move to his place after half year. Is that the problem to apply GC ? Should I hide my separated address?
3. I was communist member in China before. should I lie about this in i-485 ?
4. for working permit form i-765, I applied OPT and H1B before, so I should say 'yes' for 'Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?'
5. i-765 application type should be (c)(9): Family-based adjustment applicant
