我2006年5月毕业,现在用OPT工作, 没赶上去年的H1,OPT今年7月失效,我有三个月的gap(从7月到9月).公司可以考虑给我申请H3来Cover这3个月的gap. 咨询公司律师后,公司告诉我” the H-3 visa is for a Training Program and the expectation is that after the training program, the person would go to work in their home country. We could possibly apply for it, but they were afraid that it would be difficult to get a H-1B right after that.” My question is,
1.Is it possible for me to apply for and get H3 visa to cover the 3 months gap?
2.Will the changing from F-1 to H-3 make it harder to get H1, compared with from F1 to H1?
3.Is it worth applying for H3 or not?
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
