What do you think about this case:
My friend's family were once on the immigration waiting list to US. (her parents in Hongkong applied for the entire family based on her aunt who is a US citizen). Meanwhile they also applied immigration to Canada. AFter they moved to canada, they also got notice from US saying that it was their turn. However, her parents decided not to immigrate to US any more so they wrote a letter saying do not want to process. Now my friend is in US going to school. SHe is a Canadian citizen but she wants to go to medical school in US. Is there any way for her to use that old application again to get green card? or that case is totally done?
