This is a question from my friend. He filed I-400, and got FP done last year. His first interview was in Jan. 2007, passed the exam, but he was told to provide additional documents for residency evidence and interview again in March (he was in China most time of year 2006, and not greater than 6 months each time). At his second interview in March, he was told to wait for result in 120 days, and the officer took all the documents he provided.
(1) What possible result it could be - denied, approved, or more documents again? or anything else?
(2) What should he do during this 120 days period to support his application?
(3) Can he travel out of US for a few months?
(4) I plan to file I-400 recently, and then go back to China for a long period(6 months). Will it jeopardize my citizenship application?

Thanks, xiaobaitu
