The INS informed me on Feb 27, 2007 that they would make a final decision on my I-485 within 60 days. But my current contract will finish at the end of this month with no possibility to be extended. So far I have not got any new position. If I I can't find a position within the next 45 day from now on, can I still have a chance to get my GC? I am on H1 status, how can I maintain a legal status?
Please advise me, I am so depressed!
