Our family will fly to Seattle and drive to Vancouver for landing next months. After reading almost all the related posts here, I still have several questions/concerns regarding to the visa auto revalidation and I would greatly appreciate if anyone can provide any helps:

My wife came to US with F-1 visa and stayed with the F-1 status since then. For me, it is F2->F1->H1B. I have EB-2 I-140 approved and waiting for the priority date to file my I-485.

1. Is it better for my wife and I come back to US separately? I am worrying if my I-140 approval has any impact for my wife’s case.
2. Am I qualified for the auto visa revalidation? I have read a couple of posts here indicating that I have to re-apply for an H-1 visa since I do not have an H-1 visa stamp on the passport.
3. Several years ago before I came to US with the F-2 visa, I applied for my F-1 visa in China but refused due to the so-called “Immigration Intention”. Will the F-1 Visa refusals (3 stamps on the back of my passport) have any impact for my returning to US from Canada?
4. Is it wise to schedule a visa appointment in advance right now in case if I or my wife get checked and have to apply for the H1/H4 visa in Canada to come back? What concerns me is if we do so, we may have some troubles at the border when we try to use the auto visa revalidation. The custom/immigration officer may be able to find out the visa scheduling on their system and refuse us to use the visa auto revalidation.

Again, any inputs are highly appreciated.
