I-94 quesition for xiaobaitu cd1234562007-07-01 16:45:09

i'm already a u.s. permanent resident.
Do i still need to turn in my I-94 when I travel?(obtained from my last entry as F-1 student)
If i turn in the I-94, will there be any negative effect in the future/
