My hu*****and (H-1B) is planning to submit NIW I-140 and I-485 on July 28. My visa is F-1 student. I'm wondering whether or not we can seperate to submit our I-485. Can we submit my 485 later after his I-140 gets approved? The reason to do this is trying to avoid the possible trouble for me (because of my F-1 status), if his I-140 won't be approved.
