I send I485 inquiry about "Outside Normal Processing Times" and got a email answer from USCIS. it says

The status of this service request is:
The FBI name check is currently pending on your case. These background checks are
required of all who apply for the immigration benefit you are seeking.
USCIS will be starting to adjudicate I-485 application where the FBI name check has
been pending 180 days. If otherwise approvable these cases may be worked. Because
of the volume of these cases there is no way to predict when your case will be
adjudicated. Expedites will not be taken on this work load.

I assume IO should look at my case, but the online status has not been updated at all? IS this normal?
