I have an erroneous record at The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)database and because of that I cannot start my OPT application.
Our graduate school requested a change from SEVIS about a month ago but to date SEVIS has still not updated my record!!
I need to get my OPT approved by the end of April and I am desperately waiting for SEVIS to make the correction as soon as possible.
Please give me some advice, with regard to how long they normally make a correction and what should I do now.
I appreciate your advice!!!
