Laid-off recently. The lawyer for my green card is employed
by my ex-employer. My new employer does not provide an immigration
lawyer. Does any one know if I need to find a new
lawyer and transfer the GC files to him/her or if I can still
use my current lawyer?

My I-485 has been filed more than 180 days.
If I hire a new lawyer, how much do I need to pay him/her?

Can I keep the files by myself?

Thanks a lot!

No matter you will retain a new attorney or not, you'd better -
