My official AP document states that expiration date is Nov 17th, 2008. However, I used AP recently to enter US, say July 2nd, 2008. When I entered, the immigration officer gave me a stamp indicating the expiration date is July 1st, 2009 (one year after the entry date).
My question is that if I want to use AP to reenter the US after my official expiration date of Nov 17, 2008, shall I renew my current AP or that is not really necessary as the new expiration date on the stamp now is July 1st, 2009?
