My OPT was expired on June 4, 2004. During the two months Grace Period, I was issued a new I-20 form from the graduate school on June 10, 2004 as a MBA candidate for fall semester.

Right started to register the class for fall semester, I obtained a job offer and started to proceed the H-1B application through premium service immediately. I will be notified whether or not to obtain a H-1B visa around August 20, 2004.

I am concerned the following questions.

1) If I obtain the H-1B visa, which will be effective on October 1, 2004, do I have to register the class or not? (Note: There is a GAP between the school gets started on August 23, 2004 and H-1B will be effective on October 1, 2004)

2) If I have to register the class, can I register only 2 courses, which is the minimum requirement for a full time employee though I will start to work on October 1, 2004?

3) If I obtain a H-1B visa and I have to register the class, is there any privilege for H-1B visa holder or do I have to pay non-resident tuitions and fees?

Your kindly attention and early reply will be very appreciated.

Thanks + B. Regards,
