Since all of people we know around here never had an interview for parents' GC, I am very concerned with my Mom's interview. IS it pretty normal to have an interview for parents'GC application? How come I was told before cases like this are often approved without an interview now
Another question is I submitted my notarized Birth Certificate(the original one and the only one I had) instead of the copy ( since I did not expect an interview based on the fact everyone we know got approved without an interview). For the interview, it requests my Birth Certificate. My question is: can I use my marriage certificate, which bears my maiden name and my parents' names? I think my birth certificate pretty much serves as a proof of the relationship b/w my parents and me. am I right? Since my marriage certificate has my parents' names on it, it can also prove the relationship? o/w, I have to take a trip to China to get some documents done and acquire another notarized copy of my Birth Certificate.
