感谢大家对新移民联合会NIU的大力支持，目前我们已有会员近百人，经费2万余元。
NIU自2009年6月成立以来，有成功，也有失败，但NIU是一个开放民主的组织，只要有
一批又一批新移民的到来，NIU就会一直保持其活力。近一个月来，有４名理事由于工
作、生活负担太重，不得不辞去理事等职务。经理事会讨论决定增补以下职位：
NIU主席１名: 负责统筹NIU一切组织协调工作, 保持和各项目主席紧密联系, 激发大家
参与各项目具体计划和活动的热情,推动以中国职业移民为中心的移民行政改革和法律
改革,积极争取和维护中国合法移民的利益。The President shall be the chief
executive officer of the Corporation and shall have general supervision over
the business of the Corporation,subject,however, to the control of the
Board and of any duly authorized committee of Directors. The President shall
, if present, preside at all meetings of the Board. He or she may sign and
execute in the name of the Corporation deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts
and other instruments authorized by the Board, except in cases where the
signing and execution thereof shall be expressly delegated by the Board or
By-laws to some other officer or agent of the Corporation, or shall be
required by law otherwise to be signed or executed; and, in general, he or
she shall perform all duties incident to the office of President and such
other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the Board

项目主席多名 （485提早递交, 移民局公布数据执行，ACT-NOW法案，RECAPTURE/回收
往年剩余名额，STEM法案的立法，提高7%LIMIT的立法）:具体负责整个项目的组织,宣
传,筹款,志愿者的召集,并执行项目计划.
NIU副主席２名: 常务１名, 负责协助主席和各项目主席的具体工作。公共关系１名,
代表NIU与各媒体、团体日常联络, 协助各项目组发布公告、联合盟友、争取捐款。At
the request of the President, or in the absence of the President, at the
request of the Board, the Vice Presidents shall (in such order as may be
designated by the Board or in the absence of any such designation in order
of seniority based on age) perform all of the duties of the President and so
acting shall have all the powers of and be subject to all restrictions upon
the President. Any Vice President may sign and execute in the name of the
Corporation deeds,mortgages,bonds,contracts or other instruments authorized
by the Board, except in cases where the signing and execution thereof shall

理事多名: 组成理事会，决定NIU各项事物。"The Corporation shall be managed by
the Board of Directors, which may exercise all such power of the Corporation
and do such acts and things as may be permitted by law to be done by a New

选举办法：
一、候选人资格：NIU会员
二、选举方式：首先由会员直选，空缺由理事会补选。
三、选举程序：
1、自即日起请各位会员自荐、推荐候选人，为期２周（2010/3/30－2010/4/12）。所
有候选人需提交个人简介(参见http://bbs.niunational.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1547)。请寄contact@niunational.org
2、理事会对候选人资格核实后，公布候选人名单以及投票网站,电子邮件地址 。
3、网上投票为首选，手工投票（电子邮件）为补充。投票后请大家保存好投票资料，
以备核实。投票时间为１周。选举周内停止新会员注册。
四、选举结果评定：理事需半数以上投票人同意。主席（兼理事）需具有理事资格或为
现任理事，得票最多者当选。副主席（兼理事）需具有理事资格或为现任理事，得票最
多者当选。项目主席得票前两位者当选。 选举结果经现任理事会确认后予以公布。
五、会员直选后的空缺职位由新任理事会进行补选。
