Dear Kindly helper,
I am going to back to China in July with my son and just find my son green card needs replacement because he is just over 14 year old. He got his green card in 12 year old.
I do not think I can get his I-90 application approval before this trip if I-90 is filed right now.
If go to local office for I-551stamp, an approval letter to process a Form I-551 card can not be found at home, which you see it is required for Temporary Evidence of Permanent Resident Status below
What option I can have so that my son can go to China and be back without problem?

To request temporary evidence of your Permanent Residence Status, you must schedule an INFOPASS appointment, on our website, to visit this office in person.
Remember to bring the following items, to this office, for your appointment:
-Form I-797, ''Approval Notice'' from the Service Center or an approval letter to process a Form I-551 card
-A valid passport
