“I’m gonna tell you a story. She is engaged to him. Then she flewwwwwww to the U.K. to make a film with him, and broke off her engagement with him. And married him. Then they moved to Los Angeles and the three of them have been inseparable.”
其中，“I” 的角色是“电影明星 Steve McQueen”; “She”的角色是“电影明星 Sharon Tate”；“She” 订婚并解除婚约的是“Jay Sebring”，当年的明星化妆师；“She”去伦敦拍片子并随后嫁给的是“电影鬼才导演 Roman Polanski”（记住这个名字的窍门是“波兰斯基”）；“Three of them”是说“Sharon Tate”， “Roman Polanski” 与 “Jay Sebring”。
这是“Steve McQueen”在该电影一次明星聚会时给一个吃瓜观众“讲人事关系”的场景。如能把原场景的视频贴上来，大约一分钟讲明白。但是，Tarantino是控制狂，他的电影在油管上基本没人能贴，没办法，只能“文字叙述”。
