芹菜能降血压的说法并非毫无根据,它其中确实有一些成分有降血压的潜在功效。但这些有效成分也仅仅说明吃芹菜可能对降血压有帮助,不等于吃芹菜能起到治疗作用。而且芹菜汁,即便在不放盐的情况下,钠含量也比较高,100g的芹菜(茎)含0.4g钠!
而过量摄入钠会使得血压升高,本身高血压患者就应该少吃盐,如果每天喝一大杯芹菜汁(相当于淡盐水),血压可能不仅没有降下来,反而还会升高,到时候后悔就来不及了。
