现在是H-1b，485pending. A/P approved. H-1 was approved in 2004 and be valid until 2007. Question: If I come back USA by A/P and continue to work for the same employer, can I still keep my H-1 status? One thing to consider though, the firm changed its name slightly in 2005. Thanks.
BTW, we just called the service center (in shanghai) for visa appointments. It was the worst. The representatives spoke as slow as possible and repeated forever. We spent two hours to get the appointments done. Before that, I was just thinking about going back to china for my career. I need to rethink about it now.
