I called USCIS on June 6, 2006 to ask my 485 filed in April,2004 since my PD became current from June 1. USCIS transfered my call to TSC. The lady had no information about my case. She filed an inquiry for me and I recieved the reply as follows today from the mail.

"Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you don not receive a decision or other notice of action from us with 60 days of this letter, please call customer service at the number provided below."

BTW, my 485 based on my hu*****and's I-140(NIW), which was approved in March,2005 after RFE. His 485 is also pending. First FP, Sept,2004, second FP, Feb,2006.

Based on the information above, does it mean my name check aleardy passed? I could not understand why it is hard for them to make decision for I485 if the I140 was already approved. Any feedback is highly appreciated!

what is the code number for your two FP? any RFE for 485?

code 3 for second FP, no RFE yet.

I think code 3 is a good sign
