I was laid off 3 month ago, and I filed H4 within 10 days. I found a new job and filed H1 on 06/05, with premium process, H1 was approced on 06/15. The lawyer sent out a withdraw H4 application letter to CIS on 06/16. However, I checked the online status, the H4 was approced yesterday.
I am wondering what shall I do to make this h4 invalid. What is my current status? Is H1 or H4? If it is H4, Do I have to stop working until this mess is cleared up. Since we have sent out the letter of withdrawing, Can I just continue to work and keep H1 status?
The lawyer is company's lawyer, and the company is very careful with the issue. From the leagal point of view, do they have the right to ask me to stop working until H4 is invalid? Thank you very much!
