Thank you so much for your great help beofore for my question on two I485 application.
We(me, primary applicant; my wife as dependent) already filed I485 on March. My employer's attorney suggested we do not need to file 2nd I485 based on my wife approved I140.
We sent our filed I485 information to wy wife employer's attorney. We got the following message back:
"The USCIS frowns upon duplicate AOS filings. Therefore, we will consider
this matter (via my wife employer sponsorship) as closed. For our records, kindly provide either your filing receipt copy or filing receipt # and filing
date so that we may annotate our records."
My question here is:
1. Shall we file 2nd I485? You can see both side employers' attorneies do not like this 2nd filing although they are all willing to provide all documents associated?
2. After I check your reponses on this topic, there is no negative effect from your option if technique on application has been paid attention. I am not sure the following will be better if my wife only will file her 2nd I485 as primary applicant and I am not going to file 2nd 485 as dependent. Or I should check infopass first to see how 1st filed(in Marh) I485s (name check situation) then make decision.
Your recommendation and considertion will be very appreciated.
