I heard that: according to a new rule, if I have a H1B visa stamp on passport (even though the entering data is expired), plus an I-485 receipt, I can travel outside, then back to US without renewing my H1B, is it correct?

Thanks! So if visa expired, needs to be renewed in US embassy/co

you will just need to apply a new entry visa in consulate.
