after so many yrs' hopeless waiting and near the brink of giving up, i got green in the last minute with a little surprise. details as below:
PD: March 02
LC approved: Feb 05
I140 & I485 filed: April 05
I140 AD: July 05
Namecheck starts: April 05
I485 transferred to Nebraska: March 07
In almost 3 yrs, tried all means to get NC cleared (congressmen, first lady, FBI, etc.), all useless basically
I485 approval notice sent: April 1, 08 (what a Fool's Day!)
GC received: April 4, 08
i firmly believe in the long past that i am among those a few who are the unluckiest (compared with others under similar case). i thought my case could be pending forever. now, if i got approved, all of you can! i wish you guys good luck and don't give up. if you deserve it, you'll get it sooner or later. the uscis memo does work.
