My friend's kid just entered US with a F1 visa for high school study. She has NOT enrolled in the school yet. Because her guardian is moving to another state, she needs to change her school. One school has agreed to issue her a new I-20 form. Does she have to enroll in the school she got her visa for, then transfer to another school? Can she directly enroll in a different school with a new I-20? Thank you very much for your help!
