1. To make a living/pay the bills.

2. To fulfill personal value

3. To enrich your social life

4. To have a sense of security

5. To feel happy

6. To be a role model for your family

 

All of  above are the reasons why I like to work. 
I like to work as it really makes me happy. On my way to work, I enjoy the sunrise. On my way home, I enjoy the sunset and beautiful clouds. During the 12 hours in between，I enjoy every single minute. 

When one of my friends asked me:

"Do you like working or do you like off days? Oh, maybe I should not have asked this question."

I said," I enjoy both."

在美国还得加一条：To work for kid’s college (tuitions).

你转发的文章和这个topic真是match。难怪很多人享受生活，导致物价飞涨：）今天上班，昨晚就准备好今天要讨论的case。

上班真是带来各式各样满满的快乐。：）

我觉得四天每天十小时工作制比五天八小时工作制要好一些，省了commute时间。也算利用了寸光阴寸金的概念。

我虽然干着一份labor 工，但非常自由，为焦头烂额的客户解决问题感觉很好，觉得自己在为社会为环保做微薄贡献
