Name check was pending for more than 2 years. EB2, TSC. Over the past 6 months, wrote to senators, congressmen, GWB, and Laura. Efforts in vain.
End of Nov - WOM PRO SE filed and Summons delivered to the local US Attorney.
1.5 weeks later - US Attorney informed me that he would make FBI clear my NC.
12/22/06 - USCIS proactively called my company lawyer, telling her that my NC was cleared. This company lawyer, who refused to file WOM for me, advised me that my 485 would be adjudicated any time soon.
Right after X'mas - Received 485 approval email notice from USCIS.
12/30/06 - Received the actual Permanent Resident Card.
