This is my first question in this forum, so maybe there is a lot of dumb stuff. Therefore, please bear with me, and give some useful feedbacks. Upfront, I want to thank everyone here.
I have a friend who came to US in 1999 with a F1 visa and then changed to H1 visa in year 2001. Her mom applied for B-2 visa three time from 2001-2005 and all got refused by US gov't. Eventually in 2006, her mom and dad got B-2 visa together, and they came to US in May 2006 and her dad went back to China in Aug 2006 and her mom went back to China in Nov 2006. In April 2007, they came to US again, and her dad went back to China in Oct 2007. And she applied visa extension for her mom in Sept, however she have not heard anything yet from the immigration center.
So, QUESTION 1, how long should they wait for like this, or something they can do to accelerate this process?
Also, my friend is thinking about another possible extension in April 2008.
So, QUESTION 2, is that possible to extend a B-2 visa more than once?
