我的基本情况如下：
Primary Applicant
I485 Pending
I140 Approved
PD 2005年11月
RD 2007年9月
H1-B 今年12月过期
EAD 今年9月过期
考虑到当前工作单位不是很稳定，想请问您，如果公司突然shut down，仅凭有效EAD是否可以到其他公司合法工作，并使当前的485申请继续有效？
如果上述使用EAD的情况不被允许,是不是必须凭借有效H1-B才能transfer到其他公司，从而继续当前485的申请。
基于以上考虑，您认为我现在是否应该同时renew H1-B和EAD? 或者只renew其中一个？

有人提出以下H1-B renew rules:
1) if you have approved I-140 and you are not able to file I-485 b'cos the PD is not current then you get 3 ys extension
2) If you have approved I-140 and you have filed your I-485 and the PD is not current then you get 1 yr extension
3) if you have approved I-140 and you have filed I-485 and PD is current then you are not entitled to get any extension.
