1.Most of my friend got GC recently, even the family base. Under this kind of situation, I start to concern my case. I read an article (I forgot where) and it mentioned that the DHS started to require USCIS to clean up the old PD and then the DHS could estimate the new VB. But how old will be old enough? Like myself, EB3 ROW PD was 12/02, filed 05/07? would it be old enough?
2.One of my friend whose laywer just wrote a letter to USCIS and then his case was "reopened" and approved within one week. But my laywer refused to write the letter for me because she said that she would get trouble...She asked me to contact the Sen. or Congr. My laywer also mentioned " it might be work if you get help from Sen but it would spend longer time than normal process" . I want to know is it true?
3. Is it worth to do another Infopass to check if my NC has been cleared?
