寒門不掩坐忘機，有物多情織布衣。

在野蛩聲天下放，辭京雁影月前歸。

宮庭百變同因果，筆墨無妨各是非。

識字清風勤展卷，儒生夢採首陽薇。

 

Dear Muse,

 

We really had a hard time catching up with each other lately. It was my fault, of course. So, how can I make up to you for my tardiness? Penning a poem, I guess.

 

This may be another year of living dangerously (and I hope not), but somehow I am under the impression that we are also living in an interesting time — indeed, so interesting that I enjoy rhyming in Chinese again.
