From my poetry I have "cherry-picked" two Chinese couplets and one short English verse for this Friday's translation program. Translation, in my humble opinion, is a kind of cross-cultural workout. Such workout, I believe, would be rewarded with a sunny spot above and beyond the Tower of Babel. Speaking of which, why don't we go ahead and translate every single word into a moment of joy? I'll wrap up this translation exercise with my two cents when it's time to call it a night. Let the fun begin!
